Solution focused therapy/ Brief Therapy

I also work with people in a more focused way thinking about a specific problem e.g. insomnia, weight and body images issues, unexplained anger and anxiety and panic attacks. This kind of counselling known as solution focused counselling can be  particularly useful for young people (usually 16+) or people trying to make sense of a life event; loss of a job, loss of a relative or friend, birth of a baby, retirement, children leaving home.
